QBZ-120/1140(660)N Mine-used Flameproof Reversible Vacuum Electromagnetic Starter is suitable for underground coal mines with explosive gases such as methane. With rated voltage 660 V/1140 V 50 Hz, The starter can be used to control and protect the start/stop of 3-phase squirrel-cage motor and can do commutation when The motor stops.

This starter is composed of a flameproof enclosure and functional core part.
The flameproof enclosure in rectangle employs a fast-open structure with plane spigot on the front door. The upper half of the enclosure is the input/output connection chamber for cable leading in/out. The cover of the connection chamber is fastened by bolts, and there are 5 control connection terminals for remote control ofthe starter, The connection chamber has inlet/outlet horns to fasten the cable and meet flameproof requirements.
The starter has reliable mechanical and electrical interlocking devices and the isolation switch handle cannot be switched over until the emergency stop button is pressed down, lhe starter has protection functions such as short circuit, overload, phase loss, leakage locking, over/under voltage, and fault parcmetera display, manually emergency stop and phase commutation functions.
